Chase Padgett's one-man tour-de-force performance of Nashville Hurricane vividly brings several unforgettable characters to life. From the Nashville Hurricane himself (a.k.a. Henry Waltrip), there’s also Henry’s mother Brenda and a blues-playing mentor named Tyrone. Great storytelling is at the heart of Nashville … a wealth of anecdotes and songs are framed by hilarious rants about love, music, growing up in a trailer park and several peeks into the dark side of show business. Holding it all together is Padgett’s blazingly virtuosic guitar playing which culminates with a show-stopping performance of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
