Flicker (as in “woodpecker”) is a multimedia dance work that follows a young man as he sets out on an inner journey encountering wandering souls, dancers and mythical creatures.

× In celebration of Ballet Kelowna’s 15th anniversary season, the company presents its first full-length ballet – A Streetcar Named Desire, by renowned Canadian choreographer John Alleyne. Adapted from Tennessee Williams’ 1947 Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Alleyne’s Streetcar explores themes of vitality and fragility and the struggle between the dying aristocracy and the working class and combines compelling dance with superb acting, lavish costumes, and an original jazz score by BC-based composer Tobin Stokes.
